COVID-19 ProcedureS For Keeping you & our staff safe

Future Stars Of Houston is committed to the health and safety of our families and staff. The policies and procedures listed below reflect current requirements and best practices. We will adjust our safety procedures as needed and in accordance with the guidance of officials.


Facility

  • We will have a high frequency daily cleaning and disinfecting.
  • All surfaces will be sanitized.
  • Each class zone will be cleaned and disinfected between classes. 
  • We will have hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility.
  • Drinking fountains will not be available to use.  
  • Controlled entrance and exit to reduce congestion.
  • Paper towels have been installed in all restrooms. 
  • Signs have been placed in open areas to encourage social distancing.


Before You Arrive

  • Every student must be escorted by their guardian prior to entering the building. 
  • To limit the number of people in FSH, we are only allowing one (1) parent and their STUDENT to enter the building. Please do not bring any additional siblings or nonparticipating children.
  • Check you and your child at home for symptoms (per the CDC, symptoms include cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell).
  • If anyone in your household is sick, please stay home.
  • Pack and bring your own water bottle. Drinking fountains will not be available.  
  • Parents are required to bring a face mask that must be worn at all times on FHS premises.
  • Students are required to wear masks at all times, except when they are performing skills on an apparatus while still maintaining social distancing.

Arrival

  • Families are asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
  • Enter into the building is through the front. 
    • One (1) parent MUST wait in line with their student seeing proper social distance prior to entering the building for:
      • Temperature screening
      • Hand sanitation 
      • Verbal health questionnaire
      • Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 °F and above will be asked to leave.
  • Once parent and child (or child only) are cleared, they will be allowed inside and directed to their designated zone. 
    • Each class will have its own zone. 
    • Students are to remain within their zoned area for the duration of the class.
  • Pick will be in our designated pick-up zone.


Class Time

  • During our initial opening phase, we will only open limited classes.
  • We will be limiting the number of participants in each class. 
  • Instructors will invite students onto the class area when they’re ready to start class.
  • Instructors will encourage social distance and hand sanitizing during class. 
  • Instructors will provide appropriate personal guidance for each student.
  • Instructors will limit direct contact with students.
  • Students will be required to sanitize their hands periodically and at the end of class.


Exiting Building/Pick-up

  • Once dismissed, parents will be given instructions on where to pick up their children.
    • Be sure to take all your personal belongings with you. There will be no lost and found.
    • Please leave promptly and limit socialization. 
  • Parents returning to pick-up their child MUST be on time
    • A staff member will escort students to the pick-up zone.
    • Students will be released one at a time directly to parents.


Staff Safety

  • All FSH/ZENITH staff are required to self-check for COVID-19 symptoms before coming into work.
  • All staff will have their temperatures checked at FHS prior to entering building.
    • Anyone with a temperature exceeding 100.4 °F will be sent home.
  • Staff is required to wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival to work, between classes, and at the end of their shift.
  • All staff will wear face coverings when on FHS premises.
  • Instructors will have limited or no physical contact with children for the first phase of opening.
  • Staff will be thoroughly trained on establishing and maintaining distancing and sanitizing standards.


Reporting / Communication

Parent or Employee or someone in their household MAY have been exposed to Covid-19:

  1. Notify the Future Stars Of Houston by email at management@futurestarsofhouston.com
  2. Self-quarantine per doctor’s orders and a doctor’s release is required to return to the facility.

Parent or Employee or someone in their household has been diagnosed with Covid-19:

  1. Notify the Future Stars Of Houston by email at management@futurestarsofhouston.com 
  2. Self-quarantine per doctor’s orders and a doctor’s release is required to return to the facility.
  3. FSH will notify any parent / student / faculty that was in the facility at the same time as diagnosed individual.

Employee or Child was asymptomatic and has been at the facility and now is known to have a confirmed case:

  1. Notify the Future Stars Of Houston by email at management@futurestarsofhouston.com 
  2. Self-quarantine per doctor’s orders and a doctor’s release is required to return to the facility.
  3. FSH will notify any parent / student / faculty that was in the facility at the same time as diagnosed individual. 
  4. Facility will shut down for 24 hours to sterilize the facility.
  5. All Classes cancelled for this reason will be notified by email and issued make-up tokens.
